Kassidy VanMerkestyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her Master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Leadership from Adler University. She works with children, adolescents, and adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other complex mental health concerns. Kassidy also has experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence and those involved with the justice system.

Her work is grounded in trauma-informed and person-centered care. Kassidy integrates approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. She collaborates with clients to set realistic goals, build resilience, and develop practical strategies that support lasting change.
