Michelle Amaning earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Illinois University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in community mental health, substance use treatment, and private practice settings. Michelle enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and believes every client brings a unique story, perspective, and set of strengths to the therapy process.
Michelle’s approach is rooted in person-centered care and collaboration. She believes therapy is a partnership where clients are encouraged to take an active role in their healing while feeling supported every step of the way. Michelle strives to create a welcoming space where clients can be their authentic selves as they build coping skills, navigate life’s challenges, and work toward their personal goals.
