Alan earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology with distinction from North Park University, School of Professional Studies. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Alain works with individuals, groups and families using art, imagery, and a variety of visual illustrations to help foster insightfulness and greater expression of thought. He takes a very humanistic approach to personalize therapeutic service for every client he sees. Alain is a true eclectic, using CBT, Reality Therapy as well as Mindfulness through a variety of mediums. Combining life experience and his formal education, Alain has successfully provided services to a wide range of individuals seeking help with anger management, parenting, and other disorders.
Alain is a member in good standing with the American Counseling Association. He has also coordinated and participated in a variety of volunteer efforts across the U.S., from “Friends in Sonoma Helping” (F.I.S.H.) in Santa Rosa, California, and “Second Harvest Food Bank” in Nashville, Tennessee to the Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, Illinois.
In his spare time, he enjoys finding a new road on his motorcycle, a good walk, or playing some tennis.
