Jane has over 20 years of experience as a counselor and college instructor. Her goal is to help clients overcome the many obstacles in life, including: relieving the symptoms of anxiety and depression; healing from trauma; overcoming the stresses at work, home, or school; adapting to unplanned life transitions; gaining the courage to change one’s life; gaining the strength to live a good life despite having chronic pain or chronic illness; career and education issues; parenting, family and couples issues (including children with special needs); and issues related to aging.
Education and training
- University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, undergraduate degree is in Human Resources and Family Studies, with a minor in Business Administration.
- Graduate degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Educational Psychology with a specialty in Counseling.
